MATERA is the brand new Opificio Ceramico project inspired by the homonymous Italian city recently named European capital of culture. With Matera, the Company has decided to focus on a completely new material, the refractory stone, which through a process of extrusion and subsequent hand drawing obtains physical connotations of materiality and stunning chromatic variations. The stone takes shape from the sun-shrouded rocks, enriching the welcoming atmosphere of the house.
