In Geo-Grafia collection by Massimo Barbini the marks scratch the stone, emptying part of its surface and at the same time drawing margins, boundaries, zones of exchange between linear elements and large areas of material. Like a map, the marks engraved on the stone are ‘paths’ representing the repetition of time and space. Stone is an enormous canvas, an immense aesthetic territory, on which to record one’s own map, which is the result of the interaction between man and nature.
