Rediscovering the relationship with the landscape, with traditions and emotions is the beauty of designing and writing a contemporary history with an ancient material: the pitch stone (pietra pece). Extracted from the only existing quarry in Ragusa, Tabuna Descat, Pietra Pece is a unique calcarenite due to its chromatic variations: it takes on a colour ranging from grey to dark brown, while the simultaneous presence of fossils and veins make it stand out unmistakably.
