BEAT is the collection designed by the duo Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri. It originates from an exploration of the passage of time and the rhythmic patterns of things produced by man and nature: from the furrows of a plowed field to the facades of buildings, the rippling of water, or footprints in the snow. In surfaces created with Beat, one can fully perceive the human touch, as well as the reaction of the natural element to the craftsman’s attempt to shape and control it. In fact, the NeoClay™ ceramic mixture is a living material: it shifts during engraving, drying, and up to the firing process, which crystallizes it in its most expressive form, bearing unique and unrepeatable micro-imperfections.

“With Beat we wanted to tell the story of the passage of time, the traces that man leaves on nature, the value of matter and craftsmanship. We tried to express it with a subtle, almost chiseled texture, whose imprint remains impressed in raw earth.”
